Leader’s

Leaders… You can’t pick and choose the days you want to be responsible.  It is not something that can just disappear because you’re tired or discouraged.  Lead with strength, courage and honor!

Leaders

Leaders… When your team faces tough situations, lead from the front or step back and be willing to follow and support those who will

Thanks Coach

The reward isn’t the trophy. Its the moment when a young man comes up to the coach and says “Thanks! Thanks for coaching me up. You made me a better athlete, better coach and subsequently a better person”.

Play beyond your potential..

“The standards most players set for themselves will usually be in a comfort zone that is well below their potential.”
Competitors…Hope they will find a coach that inspires you to go beyond your comfort zone.

Compete!!!

In some games, everything seems to be going wrong – Officials calls, mistakes, no momentum, etc.  The strongest competitors know these days will happen and have developed the determination, courage, focus and inner strength to know how to “fight through” these times. Compete!

Words Of Wisdom

“Everyone on the field should want the ball hit to them. We should say to ourselves, what am I going to do with the ball when it is hit hard, or to my right, or to my left, or slowly, etc. By doing this we are prepared to make the correct play at all times. Physical errors are going to happen, but we must keep mental errors to a minimum.” – Cal Ripken Sr.

Quote of the week

Uncoachable kids become unemployable adults, let your kids get used to someone being tough on them. Its life get over it..
Phill Jackson

Success goes to who?

Your kid’s success or lack of success in sports does not indicate what kind of parent you are…  But having an athlete that is coachable, respectful, a great teammate, mentally tough, resilient and who tries their best is a direct reflection of your parenting.
